Lacrosse Cancelled for AMLA for 2021
Submitted By Reg Holinshead on Friday, July 2, 2021
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

After much deliberation and consideration, AMLA has unfortunately made the very tough decision to cancel the 2021 season in Arthur and focus our attention on rebuilding for 2022.  A marked absence of resources, including venues, and shortage of players and volunteers needed to run a comprehensive and worthwhile program were the key factors.

AMLA players are free to join other organizations who are able to run programs for the 2021 season and are required to return to AMLA for 2022.  No release paperwork is required for 2021. Please contact your nearest centre, CW, or West Grey for example, to see if there are openings.  We know they have spots in U15 and U17 at the present time.  Others may be available as well.

We are hoping to run some off-season events depending on the availability of a suitable venue.  Keep an eye on our website and social media for updates.

We wish all of our Aces players and families all the very best, stay safe, and we will see you in the off-season or in 2022 when we are back in full force.
